RECREATION AND LEISURE

With over 520 acres of park space in Nevada, including walking and biking trials, fishing, aquatics center, skate park, ball fields and more, Nevada gives you the opportunity to enjoy unlimited outdoor activities.

A little further northeast is the Schell-Osage Wildlife Area, where you can view blue herons, eagles, ducks and migrating waterfowl. Other natural outdoor adventures including hunting and hiking await you at the August A. Busch, Jr. Memorial Wetlands located at Four Rivers, an area known for its archaeological sites and early native Osage inhabitants.

Nevada is 45 minutes away from the number one sailboat lake in Missouri.  Stockton Lake is not only a great sail boating lake, but has the accessibility for fishing, horse trails, camping, beaches and other outdoor recreation.
